Meaningful impact for those in need

Arc70 is one of the largest independent affordable housing investors in the U.S. The firm was formed to help solve our nation’s housing crisis by financing the preservation and new development of affordable housing across the U.S.

Our projects provide safe and high quality living for low-income residents (defined as those earning 60% or less of the market’s area median income) and those in need including veterans, the homeless, the disabled, seniors, and single parents.

The U.S. is experiencing a chronic housing shortage. The Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University reports that over the last decade, the market has lost 6.1 million units of low-cost rental housing with 22.4 million cost-burdened renter households in need of affordable housing.

At the current pace of 108,000 affordable housing units being placed into service each year, it would take over 200 years to fill the gap. Remarkably, more than a quarter of renter households in the U.S. spend over half of their income on rent, limiting their ability to purchase food, medical care, and transportation.

Arc70’s mission is to create and preserve high-quality, affordable housing for those who need it most. We work hard to give low-income families, veterans, seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those experiencing homelessness a place to call home.
